I did a thorough search before choosing Harris Waterproofing. I am fortunate to have found them. No corporate BS. Down to earth discussion of the issues. A complete solution....not the incomplete solution proposed by others, that required I replace an interior wall after they had finished. A very competitive price and first class service...Thank-you!

The installation itself was done professionally and timely and the quality of work was great, however our biggest challenge was communicating via email with Laura. For example, we requested an adjustment along with an updated quote but were told by Laura that there was no sufficient time to provide revised documentation. Secondly, we asked for our paid invoice on two different occasions but did not receive a response for several days. We recommend timely communication with customers to ensure information is accurate and a level of customer service is achieved. I also recommend modifying the invoice/contract to include a signature block to legally bind the agreement as well as the business phone number for easy reference.

We had a basement that would flood whenever it rained. After a consultation with Tim, we decided to hire Harris Waterproofing to install a pipe and a sump pump (and fill in a hole). The crew showed up a few weeks later - as scheduled - and worked quickly. They finished ahead of schedule two days later. And since they did their work, it's rained...and I'm happy to report that for the first time in 4 years our basement is water free!

We hired Harris for a water leak in our crawl space coming due to a crack in our foundation as well as foundation settling (home was originally build in late 70s). They created a drain system to take the rain water away from the house and sealed the foundation crack on both the interior and exterior. They had to dig 4.5 feet down to the foundation! In addition, they installed a pvc pipe on a downspout that had been backing up which would leak into our utility room. They were very mindful of existing landscaping we had recently done for plants, mulch and ground cover. The exterior looked as if nothing had ever been done. Well worth the wait as it did take a couple of weeks to get the appointment scheduled (lots of rain in Dec/Jan). We wanted to get this done right the first time and that is what Harris did. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing waterproofing work done.

The company owner provided an estimate for addressing water in my basement after assessing the situation. The estimate was very reasonable and did not call for extensive, unnecessary services. I will have the work done by this company as soon as I am able to.

Tim arrived on time for the estimate. His estimate was in-line with others we received, but Tim was more thorough and offered a life of structure warranty (the others offered only 5-10 years). Tim and his crew arrived when scheduled, were very professional and pleasant to work with, responded quickly to my questions and stayed within the estimate. Since the repair five months ago, we've had a lot of heavy rains and NO LEAKS! I just had an industrial hygienist inspect my basement and was told that the waterproofing work we had done was excellent. (We had highly acceptable moisture readings along the interior foundation.) I highly recommend this company.
Description of work:
We had a long-term foundation leak fixed about five months ago. The work we had done to repair the leak required digging down about 8 feet (to the base of the foundation) along the affected areas, repairing holes and cracks, installing a 4-inch perforated footing drain covered with #57 stone gravel, applying two coats of waterproofing compound, running a gravity drain down to the street and backfilling/ tamping soil back into place.

I have a garage built into a slope. Two walls are getting water intrusion.
Carrie R. on September 25, 2018 7:12:38pm
My house has a partial basement, with half full-height and concrete floor, and the other half dirt crawlspace. There's not really a permanent separation between the two, some previous owners had made an attempt to hold back the dirt, but it is cracking. There's also no real vapor barrier over the dirt section. The basement is relatively dry, though some water does seep under the exterior door when the outside drain gets clogged, but the basement is very humid, and the rest of the house has a musty smell, likely not helped by the basement. I'd like to control the humidity in the basement and ideally the rest of the house (whole house dehumidifier?), as well as a proper vapor barrier and some permanent solution to separating the dirt crawlspace from the rest of the basement so that it can be clean, usable storage space. If this is something you can help with, I'd be happy for you to take a look and provide an estimate. Thanks! Thanks, Carrie

Hello, I am looking to get a moisture barrier installed in my basement/crawlspace. While we do not have issues with standing water, we would like the dirt covered for general moisture/ humidity and to keep it clean. Thanks, Mandy J

I have a back deck that was built on a poorly supported foundation, I need it removed and the foundation replaced. I would like the new foundation to go all the way to the basement level. Is that something you can assist with?
